Fortress Trading is a proprietary trading firm, proudly based in Chicago, that
specializes in market making and trading of equity index futures and options.
Fortress was created to bring the latest technology to trading, both analytical
technology which helps us uncover market opportunities as well as systems
technology which helps deliver information to traders so they can take advantage
of those opportunities. Unlike some firms, we use a team approach which brings
traders and technology professionals together to help each other. No one is
'support' staff. Everyone contributes.
Our proprietary trading arm doesn't have clients or customers. The Fortress point
of view is strictly our own. No one has to worry about conflicts. This allows us
flexibility to pursue market opportunities
